Sign & Sing A & B

Ages 6 mo - 3 yrs.
Caregiver attends entire 45min. class.

In class you’ll be given the tools and knowledge to communicate with your baby while learning more than 50 American Sign Language signs. Through songs and play, both parents and babies will learn to sign together using research-proven strategies designed by Signing Smart. Home Materials: 2 Family Activity Guides, 2 DVD’s, 2 glossaries of signs, 2 sets clip on photo flashcards of signs.

The required $60 home material fee is not included in tuition and is non-refundable. Material fee is to be paid to the teacher at the first class.

Ages birth through 18months

This 45minute class is a fun and musical way to bond with your baby, introduce simple concepts and instruments, and connect with other parents. Activities educate parents to stimulate your child’s brain development through music, movement, song, language, exercise and gentle massage. Home materials include: 2Baby board books, 2 CD’s, 2 instruments, and wall banners.

The $65 home material fee is not included in tuition and is non-refundable. Material fee is to be paid to the teacher at the first class.

This child-centered program encourages your child’s musical instincts & stimulates brain development through songs, creative dance, instruments, individual exploration & language skills. This unit firmly integrates the learning process by placing a strong musical emphasis on singing, steady beat and ensemble as well as rhythm & rhythmic patterns. You will find a toyshop filled with boats, trains, balls, jack-in-the-box & many other toys to bring a glimmer to your child’s eye. Home Materials include: Toy Shop Play Set, 2 CD’s, 2 Story Books, Family Activity book, a Drum & a Backpack.

The $60 home material fee is non-refundable and is not included in tuition. Material fee is paid to instructor on the first day of class. Sibling kits available.

Semester 4 of Kindermusik for the Young Child is the fourth and final semester of this exceptional program. Together we will explore the sounds of wind with the introduction of the recorder!

Semester 4 truly is a great end to a terrific curriculum as students learn about verse and refrains, solos and chorus, and musical form (ABA and rondo). We will also review notation, rhythms, treble clef, and the complete C scale.

The $55 home material fee is non-refundable and is not included in tuition. Material fee is paid to instructor on the first day of class. Sibling kits available. Home materials include: Games Bag, CD, Carry Bag, Family Songbook, Children’s folder and a Recorder.

Kindermusik is an award-winning enrichment program for young children. It is a research-based language and early literacy program built around music that helps develop pre-literacy and language skills through a child’s most-loved rituals: music, movement and story time. ABC Music & Me supports the early childhood standards and requirements for “high quality programs” as defined by the National Institute for Early Education. Plus for the older age group, it aligns with pre-K national and state standards.

ABC Music & Me – 18months - 4 Year Olds – with Caregivers

Part 1 - Silly All Over
This class could very well give children a case of the giggles. They will listen to silly sounds, move in silly ways, and read a story about a mouse that puts clothes on all the wrong places. Laugh a little, and get Silly All Over! Home Kit: Pair of green sand blocks, Home CD, and magazine-style Family Guide

Part 2 - Home Sweet Home
Your child learns best in the comfortable surroundings and everyday activities of home. So we’ll use this nurturing theme to turn our classroom into a pretend house. In your Home Kit read together the story about the different kinds of houses animals make—from spider webs to bird’s nests. When you find these homes in your very own backyard, you reinforce the learning that’s happening in class. Home Kit: Home CD and magazine-style Family Guide.

The required $35 home material fee is not included in tuition and is non-refundable. This total covers both kits. Material fee is to be paid to the teacher at the first class.

ABC Music & Me – 4 - 6 Year Olds – with Caregivers

Part 1 – Rhythms of the Land
In class we’ll explore the rhythms and sounds of Native American music. As we investigate, compare, and contrast a wide variety of drums and the materials they’re made from, your child develops the investigative vocabulary needed in the sciences and gets an early start in math, too. Home Kit: Jingle Stick instrument, Home CD, and magazine-style Family Guide with story.

Part 2 – Sounds All Around
We’ll explore all the sounds we can make with our mouths, bodies, hands, plus everyday objects we can find around the house. Your child develops an early understanding of how one material can be used to make something else. Home Kit: Home CD and magazine-style Family Guide with story.

The required $35 home material fee is not included in tuition and is non-refundable. This total covers both kits. Material fee is to be paid to the teacher at the first class.
