Kindermusik Village provides natural learning from the very first days of life. With you at the center of your child’s discovery, Village engages your baby’s senses and rewards curiosity with object and instrument exploration, vocal play, singing, creative movement & literature. Multi-level activities encourage you to make creative choices as baby grows from lap baby to crawler to walker! Village opens new windows to show your baby more about the world and to show you more about your baby.
ZOOM BUGGY!
How many ways can Baby and Parent zoom in Kindermusik Village? Hop in the Zoom Buggy! and find out! Through a variety of songs, chants, and instrumental selections you and Baby will experience the rumbling of a baby buggy, the squeaky stroller, the bumpa bumpa bumpa of the wagon, the train chugging up the track and much more.
DREAM PILLOW
Baby is the star in Dream Pillow, with each activity carefully planned to stimulate his developing brain, thereby promoting physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and language development. But it is the parent who is watching and guiding this little star on the rise, and Dream Pillow, like all of the Kindermusik Village units, is written with the parent very much in mind.

Our Time encourages your child to uncover an engaging musical world while building confidence, self-control and communication skills. Instrument exploration will pique your child’s curiosity while exploring textures and sounds. Language skills are fostered through singing, imitation and rhyming. Creative movement is included, helping your child develop a sense of balance, timing, and special awareness. Listening and turn-taking activities allow social skills to begin to blossom.
Imagine the aroma of baking cookies, the coziness of the family kitchen, the chatter among sisters, brothers, grandmas, granddads, mom and dad, and the anticipation and excitement of having friends come to visit. These moments at home are times to be shared and treasured. These special moments are captured in Milk & Cookies.
Capturing the security, excitement and familiarity of "at home" moments is the ideal theme for empowering the parent to act as teacher through scaffolding. What better way for parents to lead their child than with familiar, everyday home activities such cooking in the kitchen, dusting and washing clothes

Imagine That! Captures a child’s attention, nurtures budding creativity and individuality, and enhances the overall learning process all through a remarkable blend of music, singing, movement, literature, instrument exploration and pretend play. Pretend play activities are integrated with music, vocal development, storytelling, movement and literature. Using the power of imagination, your child will become an active participant in the learning process. With music as the thread, each lesson provides an opportunity for your child to reflect, compare, make choices, express opinions and preferences and engage in problem-solving activities.
In Hello Weather preschoolers and their families meet an approaching thunderstorm, swirling wind gusts, flaky snowflakes and bright sunny skies! Children can discover so much, do so much and BE so much when they look out their windows with anticipation, when they look out their windows with a joyous “Hello Weather, Let’s Play Together!” Whether you live in the country, on a cul-de-sac or in the city, when your child playfully sings, listens, moves and creates with musical raindrops, and colors of the rainbow, he is engaged in one of the most imagination-sparking collaborations on earth. Kindermusik hopes you & your child will join families all over the world in turning off the television, turning on the music & welcoming the weather into your days together.

Young Child students explore many facets of music speaking, singing, moving, listening, creating, playing instruments, and learning about reading and writing music. Creative movement or dances are interspersed with quiet activities like drawing or focused listening. Instrument playing skills are developed with the introduction of the glockenspiel a pre-keyboard instrument, (semester 1), and dulcimer (semester 3). Through creative learning activities, your child will begin to read music and to create musical compositions: accomplishments that will instill confidence in his own musical abilities. The capstone of Kindermusik, Young Child is the perfect pressure-free preparation for private instrumental instruction.
Young Child Semester 1
Semester 1 of Kindermusik for the Young Child opens the world to new and different ways of learning about music. The focus and content includes beat versus no beat, percussion instruments, brass instruments, melodic direction, exploring the staff, and notation. Semester 1 also introduces the glockenspiel, a pre-keyboard instrument.
This is the first semester of continuous learning. By the end of the 4 Young Child semesters your child will know how to read & play simple songs, read notation, note value & rhythms, be familiar with key signatures & will be able to play 3 different instruments glockenspiel, dulcimer & recorder.
Semester 3
In Semester3 of Kindermusik for the Young Child children are delighted to learn more about stringed instruments with the introduction to their very own dulcimers in Semester 3. Other musical concepts taught include call and response, improvisation, meter, notation, and a touch of Tchaikovsky.
